A Family of Jellies

This one-day event was part of the V&A’s Spring Family Festival.

Prior to the day, I had press-moulded 3 full-scale jelly seats. Families were then invited to take part to decorate the seats using coloured clay and pattern-making techniques. This was a further exploration into engagement with craft, and ways of participation that can begin with the making of collective objects.

A Family of Jellies will go on to be included as functional and participatory objects in future installations at the V&A.
